Coates Corporation Transport Division has a late model fleet of
Truck Tractors, Tandems, Quad axles, Quint axles, and Trailers to accommodate
any type of transportation needs. Coates specializes in hauling gravel,
dirt, debris, asphalt base and asphalt surface mixes. Coates Corporation
also transports heavy equipment to Coates jobsites and to many other
locations in North Carolina. Trucks are licensed up to 90,000 pounds
and can be permitted up to 150,000 pounds with super load single trip permits.
Coates drivers are trained in highway safety courses, licensed as class
A or class B, pass regular drug testing requirements, have current NCDMV
health cards and are equipped with cell phones, two way radios, and CB
radios to communicate with quarries, plants, and other contractors.
